Efficient Stay in a Cozy Spot!
Enjoyed a delightful stay with my family, despite some initial check-in challenges. The kids loved the nearby convenience stores and restaurants. Make sure to ask for thicker pillows upon arrival. Perfect for those who enjoy a compact, city-center experience!

I had a fantastic stay for 5 nights in a cozy single room. The hotel offered a refreshing foot massage and full-body massage that really helped me unwind after a long day exploring. The only downside was the tiny bathroom, but that didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. 😊

The location was super convenient, with three nearby convenience stores and plenty of dining options. Plus, getting to the Higashi-Shinjuku station was a breeze, making it easy for my teens to explore Tokyo easily.
In my wife’s opinion, the room space was tight for our family. It would be great if family-sized rooms were available.

good location but lacks charm
The room was adequately spacious for our family and clean upon arrival. One staff member stood out by providing excellent train info, making it easier for us to navigate the city.
The hotel lacked charm, which made our stay feel a bit impersonal.

I had a great stay at APA Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Ekimae. The location couldn’t be better, right next to the Higashi Shinjuku station. It made traveling around Tokyo super easy. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room as well. The amenities included an electric kettle and flat-screen TV, which added to my comfort. Breakfast was included, and while it had tasty options, the selection never changed throughout my stay. That got a little boring after a few days. The room was small, which made it tricky to maneuver my luggage, especially since I was there for six nights. The elevator situation was a bit frustrating. there was only one for the 12 floors, and it was often crowded. This caused some delays, especially during busy hours. Despite these few inconveniences, the overall vibe of the hotel was nice, and the bed was comfortable enough to ensure a good night's sleep.

Couple looking for a solid base
The location in central Tokyo was unbeatable. I really appreciated how close it was to a metro station and convenience stores that were just a two-minute walk away.
It was not exactly a bargain, but still within reason.

The room was small, but that’s expected in Tokyo. It felt cramped for two people. we could barely open our suitcases without bumping into each other. The cleanliness was okay, but some communal areas were kinda dingy. The bed was alright, but nothing special. Honestly, it’s really more of a solo traveler spot without much space to move around. The location was the best part though, super close to nightlife.

Perfectly located near the Higashi-Shinjuku station, making it easy to explore the area. The cleanliness of the room and helpfulness of the front desk staff stood out. On the downside, the single lift can lead to long waits, especially during busy hours, and noise from nearby traffic was noticeable at times. The shower amenities provided an enjoyable experience, with excellent-smelling toiletries that added a nice touch.

The location is fantastic, just steps from the subway and nearby restaurants. However, the room was tiny and the bed a bit hard. Cleanliness left something to be desired, with dusty spots and an odd smell in the air. Still, the friendly staff made a difference.
